For the ASEAN economy to grow, the common challenges confronted by these nations have to be elevated. The inadequate proficiency in English and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) programs is to be improved upon for a generation which is skilled and ready to take the world. Soft skills are another sector which needs to be emphasized upon.
